Mission Mountain Winery encourages all wine lovers to attend our free event on Saturday October 11th – 10 am to 5 pm : Ocktober Fest. This is a part of the winery’s continuing program to educate the community about the pleasurable synergies created by the pairing of food and wine. Keeping in spirit with October Fest we will be serving a large variety of sausages. This is also our anual vertical tasting of Pinot Noir wines giving you the opportunity to sample older vintages, our current release and a barrel sample of the 2007 vintage. We have been waiting and watching our Osprey couple hoping they would have a successful hatch. One chick has been spotted and a posible second may be in the offering as well. The proud parents are busy flying in fresh fish.

The staff and winemaker have collaborated in producing several sorbet and ice cream treats: Huckleberry Sorbet, Pear, Ginger & Ice Wine Ice Cream and Vanilla Ice Cream with Cocoa Vin Chocolate Port. Mission Mountain Winery opens for their 24st season on Saturday May 3rd 10 am to 5 pm with the annual event Red Wine and Chocolate. This is a chance for visitors to learn about the food and wine pairings of various chocolate delights and their corresponding red wines.
